Pablo Picasso – Luncheon on the Grass

Artist: Pablo Picasso (1881-1873)

was a Spanish painter and sculptor. He is often considered the greatest artist of the 20th century. His full name is Pablo Diego Jose Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Maria de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santisima Trinidad Clito Ruiz y Picasso. It is estimated that Pablo Picasso created over 50,000 works of art in his lifetime. Perhaps his most famous painting is Guernica which shows the horrors of war after the bombing of the town of Guernica. He was the first living artist to have an exhibition at the Louvre. He died of heart failure in 1973.
